Michael Dans

Born in 1971.

He graduated from the Painting Department of the Haute Ecole des Arts Saint - Luc de Liège.

Michael Dans' works have been auctioned at auctions many times. Moreover, many important galleries and museums, such as the Nadja Vilenne Gallery, have exhibited Michael Dans' works.

Michael Dans' works are presented as an unfixed space, quite mysterious, using humor as an inspiring spirit. He expresses himself through different techniques such as installation, performance, sculpture, drawing, video, or photography. This diversity is also reflected in the themes discussed. He utilizes visual sources without rules or hierarchies.

Michael Dans is neither kitsch nor minimalist. He has cultivated a very important absurdity with humor and restraint. It lies on the boundary of objects and attitudes, being very free.
