"Right Now ", this exhibition brings together nearly 60 works by Belgian artist Daniel Sluse. Daniel Sluse's oil painting creations present a kind of calm simplicity and directness. The accumulation and sedimentation of memories related to the real world or all the past are transformed into color bars as wide as brushes and deep black piles like the "Black Sea". Especially for a piece of work, the accumulation of tens of kilograms or even more of black seems like a "curtain" that covers everything, with all the visual and stage visibility vanishing. There is quite a sense of directly reaching the "nothingness" of being and non-being. As an oil painting, on a large canvas, black textures are used to conceal the "visible" or "invisible" parts. The limited lines are like a gentle and calm heartbeat, leaving the viewer with the simplest form perception. The exhibition will be on display at chi K11 art space in Shenyang until August 30th.
