Joint exhibition of Daniel Sluse at Shanghai Aurora Museum.
Installation art exhibition "Red Stool" at MOCA in Zhongjie.
As the first commercial pedestrian street in Zhongjie positioned as a laid-back neighborhood, MOCA in Zhongjie jointly launched with Daniel Sluse, the dean of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium, an installation art exhibition that created a citywide sensation during the National Day holiday - "Red Mazha”.
Not only that. Through creative concepts and artistic reconstruction techniques, MOCA in Zhongjie magnified and fabricated a gigantic red Mazha as tall as 2 meters. During the festive period of national celebration, this colossal red Mazha was positioned in the block by the west gate of Shenyang Chun Tian (Spring) on Zhongjie Pedestrian Street, providing a photo op for tourists.
“Meanwhile, 1,000 pieces of the “Red Mazha” art installation works are also presented in various artistic forms within the MOCA pedestrian area in Zhongjie. Through different artistic expressions, the artistic concept of “using... taking...” is brought to the public's attention as much as possible.”
The installation art exhibition at MOCA in Zhongjie will be on display for 30 days starting from October 1st. On this occasion of national celebration, we warmly welcome friends from all over the country to come and take photos and visit.
