Exhibition Admin 136

This exhibition is a sumptuous feast of colors. It is the first large-scale group exhibition of Belgian contemporary art presented in China, spotlighting 11 highly representative Belgian contemporary artists such as Michel Leonardi, Nathalie de Corte, and Étienne Dekimpe. Through the diverse and profound creations of these artists, the exhibition will delineate the eye-catching aspects of Belgian contemporary art in today's art world.

“Resonance of Colors – Belgian Contemporary Art Exhibition” emphasizes the unique expressions of Belgian artists in exploring resonances within colors. This is not merely a perceptual encounter with color; rather, it represents a profound and delicate spiritual dialogue between the artist and color, conveying the surging of emotions through the resonance of color and guiding viewers to immerse themselves in this visual symphony. This exhibition will showcase over 100 paintings, providing audiences with a more abundant viewing experience.

Each of the 11 participating artists possesses their own unique charm, presenting a variety of expressions of artists from different generations. It is hoped that the audience will be able to appreciate the artists' original insights into color, form, and emotion, as if stepping into a dreamy space of colors.

Many Belgian artists do not rely on grandiose philosophical, abstract, and conceptual patterns in their creations. Instead, they capture the subtle color changes in life through meticulous observation of the perceptible everyday world. This kind of observational and creative approach bears many similarities to that of Chinese artists, allowing us to sense the cross-border resonance of colors. The language of art transcends words and becomes a cross-cultural communication of hearts.
