The Artist Residency Program of International Art ADGY Center is a diverse and international art residency project specially designed for talented artists. It provides an international artistic atmosphere and a brand-new experience of on-site creation for artists from all over the world. On July 24, 2024, we are about to welcome the fourth resident artist of the year - Ignacio Galilea.

Artist Introduction:

Ignacio Galilea, born in 1970 in Spain, is a contemporary artist and the founder of the independent comic publishing house "Produkziones Infinitas". He graduated from the Tenth Art Institute of Madrid. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain, Italy, Belgium, China and other locations.

“Art is a mode of communication. What artists ought to do is express their viewpoints and feelings about the surrounding environment by continuously attempting new media. In my view, my painting creation is essentially about narrating stories. In my works, I will accentuate a unique message and present a more genuine personal state through boundless techniques. Occasionally, I attempt to convey my recent emotions through performance art.”
