Starting from December 21st, Belgian artist Alain Bornain
The "Focus" Series Painting Exhibition kicks off.
Featuring figurative representations of black and white along with superimposed colored circles, it takes you on a journey through a world of colors that transcends vision.
For artists, the precisely-referred images are derived from the concrete and tangible reality and obtained through simple and direct photographic channels. These images, serving as the base, carry the information of life. They are a kind of initial or meaningful visual materials. Initially, these materials act as the medium that stirs the artist's feelings and triggers creation. Secondly, they are the vast and transient fragments. When being selected as the base images, it is also a process of removing semantics. This is because the artist's selection is not to establish an interpretation or analysis related to the content of the original image. It is merely a strategy of collaborating with various image elements for the reconstruction of a certain visual image.
